Password Forge

Password Forge is a free online password generator that creates maximum-entropy random passwords or memorable passphrases entirely in your browser. A live strength meter shows entropy and estimated crack time — nothing you generate ever leaves your device.

Why local generation matters: a password is only as private as the machine that creates it. Forge uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) and never transmits anything — you can even disconnect from the internet after this page loads. Rule of thumb: use random passwords for accounts (a password manager remembers them) and passphrases for the few secrets you must type yourself. 100+ bits of entropy is overkill for anything outside nation-state territory.
